Robert C. Andres
Biography
Robert “Bob” Andres is the sole shareholder of Fulton, Martin & Andres, P.C., where he practices exclusively in workers’ compensation. Bob is a life-long resident of Waterloo, Iowa, having graduated from East High School in 1970. While attending the University of Northern Iowa, Bob worked third shift at Eagle Food Centers and was a scholarship recipient on the men’s varsity tennis team. After graduating from the University of Northern Iowa in 1974 with a B.A. degree, Bob attended the University of Iowa College of Law where he earned a J.D. degree, with distinction, in 1977. Bob then began his legal career in Waterloo, working for Robert D. Fulton, the founding partner of what would become Fulton, Martin & Andres, P.C. Bob has practiced workers’ compensation law since 1977—during that time he has represented thousands of injured workers and argued numerous times before the Iowa Supreme Court and the Iowa Court of Appeals. When he is not helping injured workers, Bob enjoys playing competitive tennis and spending time with his family.
Professional Organizations
Bob serves as a member of the Advisory Committee of the Iowa Association of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers, Inc., and he is also a member of the Iowa Association of Justice, Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group, Iowa State Bar Association, and the Black Hawk County Bar Association.
Bar Admissions
Bob has been admitted to practice in front of all Iowa state courts since 1977. He primarily practices before the Iowa Workers’ Compensation Commissioner.
